1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name and email address, collected when you sign up (directly or via Google), through our authentication provider, Clerk.
• Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment provider and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, processes your payment. We never see or store your full card details — we only receive your subscription plan, status, and billing email.
• Content you provide: the prompts you type in to describe the website you want, and the websites we generate for you.
• Usage data: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and build counts, used to keep the product working and to enforce plan limits.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to create your account, generate the websites you request, process payments, enforce usage limits on your plan, and improve the product.

3. Third-party services we use

To provide Mintsite, we share limited data with a small number of trusted service providers:

• Clerk — sign-up and sign-in (name, email)
• Anthropic — the AI model that generates your website content, based on the prompt you submit
• Pexels — supplies stock photos used in generated websites, based on search terms only (no personal data)
• Neon — hosts our database
• Vercel — hosts the Mintsite application
• Lemon Squeezy — processes subscription payments, as our merchant of record

Each provider only receives the information it needs to do its job, and has its own privacy policy governing how it handles that data.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies only, set by our authentication provider to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Data retention and your rights

We keep your account and generated sites for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your associated data within 30 days, except where we're required to keep records (e.g. billing history) for legal or tax purposes. You can request to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing us at the address below.

6. Children's privacy

Mintsite is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
